Care Instructions for Gold Jewelry

Avoid water: Take off when showering, bathing, exercising or in the sauna - moisture can attack the gold layer
No chemicals: Keep perfume, hairspray, lotions and cleaning agents away
Gentle cleaning: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth - do not use polishing cloths or silver dips
Proper storage: Store airtight and protected from light, e.g. in a jewelry pouch or box
Do not rub or polish: The gold plating is delicate - do not use abrasive materials

Care Instructions for Silver Jewelry

Avoid oxidation: Contact with air can lead to discoloration - regularly clean gently with a silver polishing cloth
Avoid silver dips: Too aggressive for silver-plated surfaces - preferably use a dry cloth
Reduce contact with water & chemicals: Silver-plated jewelry should also not be worn when showering or cleaning
Storage: Dry, cool and dark - ideally in an airtight bag
Re-silvering possible: If the shine fades, silver-plated jewelry can often be re-coated
